Weekly Summary #10
So this week was the final transition week into Video and into the body of our character. In saying that, here are my final words as Geoffry Berryman –> Pimpin Purple Pandas.
This week was a busy week! A lot of crime to stop but i had time to get everything done for noir106. This week we had to finish our video stories (go Tune Squad) We had to intoruce ourselves through a sereies of interview questions, do a few daily creates as usual, comment, and then decide if we want to be in a group or not for the final unit.
Video: Very proud of the work we put in on this video! We spent a lot of time getting it done and it came out great! I personally did all of the editing because of the experience i have with video and the help provided by Geoffry Berryman. It took probably a total of 15 hours of work at least to get it done. Check out the whole video and my whole post and write up of the assignment! (hint: Make sure you have it set to watch in 720p)
Interview: So in order for the professors to better understand who we are, they asked us a series of questions and expected us to answer them. I used that computer program recmomend for downloading youtube videos and downloaded the youtube videos posted by the instructors and answered the questions in sequence with the clips had so it looks like a real interview kind of! Check out the post here and the video below!
Daily Creates: The three daily creates i did were Talk to a Stranger, Color Scavenger hunt, and Fingerprint art. Fingerprint art required us to make a form of art using our fingerprints, i made a smiley face The Talking to a stranger asked us to tell a story of a time when we had a random conversation with a stranger. Then the final one, Color Scavnger Hunt, required us to post a video of us walking around finding a color that we hate.
Final Unit Choice: I decided to be in a group with Detective Longs and maybe Emma Callahan depending on her decision.
I want to make a not that uploading things to youtube was taking a very very very very long time this week. The video story took almost 8 hours to upload, its 17+ minutes of 720p so i get that, but the Daily Create video took almost and housr and half and its a 1 minute phone video, then the Interview took about 3 hours… Just a note because it is not fun trying to post stuff and having to wait a whole day before you can use your video, plus it slows the internet down so much so i can’t do any work… The UMW wifi sucks…
