Weekly Summary #7
This week we were required to complete our radio shows that we started last week, do 3 daily creates, and again, make 10 comments. Not a lot of work you might think but the radio show was very time consuming. It wasn’t like it was ll that hard but just getting together, working on it, the editing it, took a lot of time and i am very glad that we didn’t have to do assignments on top of that.
Radio Show: I am not going to go into a lot of detail about what we did because i talked about it in an earlier blog post, but i will give a brief summary here. Basically, we met early in the week and made the core of the show (The recording, and all sound clips) Then we spent the rest of the week editing it and making it sound pretty! We did not run into many issues, the only big one was that we could not find a private room to record our sound, but Audacity has a noise remover tool that worked great! Other than that, everything went pretty swimmingly! The show itself is a modern sequal to The Killers and we included all of our own characters! I really liked my group and we all worked really well together! The group was Stephanie Henderson, Brian Christiansen, and Brianna Martino. Overall it was a very fun project!
Daily Creates: The 3 daily create i did were the Emojinate, the High Heel, and the Scary Trailer. The emojinate was really easy, they provided a link where all you had to do was make up a quick story about the 5 random emojis they give you and Ta Da!! The only issue i had was that since i am very anti apple i could not post my emojis anywhere, so i took a screenshot of my story from the emojinate website and posted in my blog so everyone could see my wonderful story! Saturday i did the high heel, it was to create a random high heel out of something. I wanted to use a potato but i did not ahve any at my house so i grabbed a dollar bill and precariously made it stand, then put my foot on top and made a wonderful set of fashion footwear! The final daily create qwas to make a scary movie trailer. I made a video a trailer on stepping on legos. The hurt so that’s what scares me!
(Just adding a lit bit of humor because i have no clue how else to add the link to my comments.)
